Default Space Shuttle Endeavour & Love

NASA Jack came through big time! Thanks!
Check out these once in a lifetime photos he took of Love parked next to the Endeavour Space Shuttle this past weekend at the cape right after it was rolled out to join Atlantis on the pads. You can see the empty crawler as it slowly leaves the pad in the background in the second photo.
After he finished, I went over to the public side and took some more photos with both shuttles in the background. This will never be possible after this shot, so take some time and pay the $3.00 to get onto the Caneveral Seashore side and take some photos of your Vette with them in the background while you still can! Enjoy.

That's killer. And Nasa Jack is a forum member. That's one hell of a hook up. Are they really launching two back to back? I need more info here. :P

The Endeavour is back up for Atlantis in case Atlantis gets in trouble (hit by debri in high orbit while working on the Hubble telescope) They will launch Endeavour to rescue them.
If all goes well, which I suspect it will, then they will launch Endavour to ISS later next month.
Anyone care to correct or improve on this? Glenn

I was wondering if they where going to start having a shuttle ready for backup. Can't they just wrap the tank with bubble wrap? J/K

Me too!! It's nice no longer having to worry if something should go wrong.
