Beats me. I have automatic notices set up on Ebay and a while back I saw a C6 with a Buy-It-Now for $25K. Of course it was gone when I checked on it.
Standard rule of thumb, I guess, is that if you want to sell something, the lower the price the quicker it sells. Sometimes people just get into a bind for money and a Corvette can be an easily liquefiable asset.
