Imported ammo!?

I guess by now you've all heard what has been done to the lead smelting plants here in the U.S. of A. The EPA has ordered them shut down due to new pollution standards. These are the plants that melt the lead for our bullets. After December of 2013 all lead ammo will have to be imported into the U.S of A. Obama has decided to let us have our guns. He will now control us by limiting what ammo comes into the United States. Did he realize that our armed forces will also have to depend on imported ammo? Does this sound like a good idea to you?

Those people in Washington D.C. are just nuts, in my opinion.

If I didn't already have plenty of ammo stockpiled, I could always make my own projectiles on my lathe out of solid brass. If copper rod was not so expense lately, that would probably be better. But in any event, I've also got all the reloading equipment and components I need anyway. So I guess there is going to be even more panic buying of ammunition taking place.

Heck, what is the automotive industry going to be doing for wheel weights?

It is a good read and is somewhat reassuring but none the less my accumulation will increase just a bit more.

Better to have and not need...............:shrug01:

Can you ever really have enough? Of course if my house catches fire the fire dept. better have flak jackets on.....

Maybe some misleading info but less and less of everything is made here anymore. It seems there will come a day when the Armed Forces will have to buy it's ammo from China.....

I suppose that pretty much ALL manufacturing capability will vanish from this country sooner rather than later.
