Well well..... UPS delivered a box today and it contained those awaited tail pipes. Darn tips on them are HUGE! So, if the STS kit shows up tomorrow as planned, and we can get things caught up from being away all weekend, I can see about arranging the install on this stuff. Leaving the car for a week is going to be tough enough, but can you imagine the restaint I am going to have to exercise with the wife following me home after the install in the Astro van (or maybe her Silverado) so I don't lose her?

Let's see some pics of the tips!

Ahh, what are you worried about leaving the car for the week? You only go to the Post office!!!

Let's plan a little gathering. We'll get Shadow on it, or perhaps if we can ever get a hold of Pewter99. He was at the Dimmitt show this weekend but I didn't know who he was. Saw his beautiful ride though.

Top priority right now is getting things back in shape after being up in Maryland all weekend. Then I want to get the STS kit installed. Their warranty period starts when it is SHIPPED, not when it is INSTALLED.

Sales have been good with the critters, so the workload is beginning to fizzle out somewhat. Probably by the first of October, I'll be out of the woods and ready to take some trips to meet up with you guys. The wife is looking forward to getting the heck away from here for FUN as well.

And the reason I don't want to leave the Z for a week is simple: I will MISS it! I won't be able to look at it each day. I was going through withdrawals when I was away this past weekend...

Default It's here!!!!!!!

UPS unloaded these three big boxes...

The largest of the boxes contained most of the hard pipes for the install...

The other cardboard box contained the "twins" and all of the other hardware needed...

I didn't bother to open the wooden crate, which contained the intercooler.

Here's a pic of the "business end" of one of the turbos...

And lastly, the Twin Tip exhaust pipe upgrade...

Those tips are roughly a half inch larger in diameter than the stock tips, from eyeballing them.

Anyway, it's just like Christmas time in September here! I'm going to be on pins and needles until I get this installed. Now all I have to figure out is WHEN I actually can do that.......

OK! Just talked to Greg at AntiVenom and I'm scheduled to bring the Z in for him to start work on the install for October 2. Probably will drop it off either the Saturday or Sunday prior. Then picking it up the following weekend.
