This has to rank as one of the best fathers days of my life!!! Kind of a buffett day in paradise.
1st, the daughter bought me a beautiful mini-surfboard (one of those little desk top types), then my son got me a book about the USCG :usa_flag:written by a guy with my same name (first and last!
) That one really got me:thumbsup: :thumbsup:
The wife got me a really nice (I mean tear jerking) card with wording that just really made my day:cool3: and a frameable picture of Mr. Jimmy Buffett:dancer01: :dancer01: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: .
The biggest thing is I had both kids together along with the grand daughter.
We had lunck at Sam's Beachbar in Hudson, and Ice cream at a littler Ice Cream shop down the way. The weather, water view and gulf breeze was perfect:thumbsup: :dancer01: :dancer01: I just wish my dad were still here to have enjoyed it
, but somehow I know that in his own way, he was watching
