Anyone interested in hitting St. Augustine during that week or weekend in October?
Speak up or get left in the dust.........

St. Augustine - 2009
Hey Andy,
Are you planning on staying at The Inn on Charlotte, or do you have another place in mind? Rich and I are thinking about getting in on Tuesday and leaving either Thursday or Friday (10/20 - 10/22 or 10/23). How will that work for you two?
We are hoping to get a few more people interested in this road trip. St. Augustine is such a great place to visit.

No reservations anywhere yet. I guess that we'll stay where everyone else is going to.
Those dates look to be OK right now............

The Inn on Charlotte is a nice place to stay. Pretty much everything is within easy walking distance. And it's a real nice atmosphere in the Inn itself. The last few times we went to St. Augustine we never got around to going to O'Steens for dinner, but we ARE going there this time come hell or high water. The fried shrimp are just awesome there.

Check out the Inn on Charlotte's web site. What do you think? Should we start making reservations?

Gotta see what the COI dates are for that period first. If it's clear, I'll talk to momma and see if I can get her to tag along...no vette though so I'll park down the road

Hope the dates are clear. Talk to Momma. We enjoyed spending time with the two of you during the December road trip and would certainly love to see the two of you again in St. Augustine. Hope to see you there.

HAPPY OCTOBER
OK gang......October's here! St. Augustine is just about 3 weeks away. I know that weekdays are hard on some people, but what the hey.........how about joining us in St. Augustine just for dinner one of the nites. Pick one, let us know, and we'll meet up for an unofficial meeting (an un-meeting?????) with food and fun. For the folks from Tampa and the west coast, it might be a little far for an evening drive, but you people on the east coast might be able to do it. I know that Dotty and I would like to meet more of the people on this forum that we've never seen yet, and I'll bet that Rich and Connie would like to see some of you again, as well as some of you for the first time. So what the hey......if you can't make it there for a nite or two, at least try to make it there for some food and fun! And hey.......we don't discriminate! Come on down even if you don't drive the (or own a) Vette! ('Ya listening Shadow?????)
