Default Later hard top conversion?

Anyone here gone from an early C4 to a later C4 hard top (targa)? How much trouble was it changing the mounting points?

If you did it yourself, what should the cost be (relative to your location).

I was given a quote to replace my 87's with a used, later model HT with headliner, including mounting point changes, out the door for $700.00.

Seems a little high to me, but I've never done it before.

Advise? Input?

If my memory serves me right, I vaguely remember very inexpensive conversion kits in various corvette catalog's. Take a look.
