Your right, is is kinda beige in color...it just drys clear and easy to put on. Over 85 degrees...it's too hot to be putting it on! Just wait till the early morning so it cools off.

I undertand that WD-40 works wonders on cleaning up the car without any damage. Fortunately they are not too bad here in south Florida--generally speaking.

i found something that works GREAT to remove them...BOUNCE dryer sheets.
just squirt the car with the hose to start softening them up a bit and wet the bouce sheet and rub them right off!
you will be amazed at how easily they come right off...
my wife and i both carry a box of bouce in the car for convenience...
that also makes the car smell good too

WD-40 works like a charm too!!! Honest to God, and it won't scratch or fade your paint.

Hmm, I'll have to try that. I swear it seems that you can do ANYTHING with just three items: WD-40, JB Weld, and duct tape.

That sounds about right. I use WD-40 for everything but stuck bolts. I use brake fluid for those suckers or the boat kind of mystery oil for really really bad ones!

Well the love bugs are definitely on the way out in north Florida. Been getting a couple of chilly nights here, and I think that knocked them back.
Not slowing down the mosquitos, however. Got two of the three Mosquito Magnets working and they are definitely pulling them in. Got a third one on the fritz that needs to be fixed.....
