Wesley Chapel

Welcome aboard! :welcome:

Don't delay getting one any longer than absolutely necessary. I am kicking myself for not getting my first vette a LONG time ago. I think of all that wasted time driving something else when I could have been tooling along in a vette.... :banghead:

Howdy and welcome!:welcome: Lots of good deals to be had out there. Just take your time and make sure you get what you want.:yesnod: In the meantime, hang out here and get to know folks.

:welcome::welcome::welcome::welcome::welcome:

Good luck on your search... I am sure with the economy the way it is you will find something !!!!

Post pics when you do :)

:welcome:. You're in great company here. If you are more specific about what you are looking for, folks here can sure cut out alot of work and hassle for you. Try it, you'll like it!!!:thumbsup:

:welcome: not only to this site but also from the Z16 site!

Rich

Thanks,
Well Rich you know what specific year and type of vette I am looking to purchase. I also thought I might have some time to head down to Ferman Chevrolet on Tues, but it doesn't look that is going to happen. I do FDOT construction work and currently at the I75 and SR 54 bridge in Pasco Co. I will waive to the caravan when you pass.

:welcome:aboard Mickey. Sorry to chime in so late, been gone most of last week. Popped in for a minute here and there but missed your thread:(

Let the folks here help you.

Put out the specifics on the car you want.

A lot of us are on the road quite a bit (I travel pretty heavilly around the state) and are always finding bargins. I've seen 2 or 3 in the last week between Tampa and Venice. Just depends on what you're looking for?

I seldom have a problem stopping and checking something out for a member, then passing the info on to them.

And there are many people here "well heeled" in the Corvette community, as well as some top notch mechanics and tuners.

Might make the search quicker and easier.

And hey! I understand the more time than money thing.

Seems when I have the "time" to do something, I don't have the money!

When I have the money, I don't have the TIME!!
:lmao:

Hang in there and thanks for your military service:thumbsup::wavey:

Well it may be final, after several months of negotiations, the owner made me an offer I couldn't refuse. I don't think it is the same car is fell in love with 5 yrs ago at the dealership, but who knows it is a one owner and from the same town. I will keep you posted.

OH-6A Scouts, 1st Cav Vietnam, I was young and foolish :hehehe: Looks like you were too

Yea at least you got to fly em, I had to jump out of em. I can't complain. I would have been a juvenile delinquent if not for Uncle Sams Instituion for misguded youth :hehehe:, and on top of that they gave me a degree and made me an officer. Who would have thought :shrug01: It is because of the Army that I am where I am today living the good life. :dancer01: So it was all worth it. On top of all that I should have my first vette in the garage by next weekend just in time for my birthday. :icon_cheers:

Welcome !

Cool, do you go to any of the local shows or cruise ins? I am sure we will run into each other especially if you go to the monthly wiregrass cruise in.

Keep us posted on that vette :dancer01:

Its official I own my first corvette at 2004 Commemorative Edition Z16 I picked it up yesterday from the original owner. The photos are from the original owner. I have not taken any yet.
