Origin of 2005 Polished Aluminum Wheels?

I believe I read an article that China was source of Vette wheels. I thought it said it started around 2004.
I'll try and remember where I read this, but that could be hard :lmao:
 
More and more, China is the source for MOST things bought within the USA..... :banghead:

Did some research and so far looks like Italy & China in that order...
