• Got the Contributing Memberships stuff finally worked out and made up a thread as a sort of "How-To" to help people figure out how to participate. So if you need help figuring it out, here's the thread you need to take a look at -> http://www.corvetteflorida.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3581 Thank you, everyone! Rich Z.

Corvette club for drivers?

By "drivers" do you mean clubs that are more "on the road/touring" types or racing focused?

If you're looking for a group that goes places and is a little more, how should I say this? ...aggressive....in thier driving habits, look into the Tampa Bay Possee.

Good group of people...if you can keep up;):yesnod:

Thanks for the replies, but racing isn't what I meant by driving. As to FCRC, I've been to their site a number of times. No mention of how to join, where and when are the meetings, etc.

They have no meetings, just show up at one of their events. One of their founders is Paul Renker, you can reach him at prrenker@verizon.net. But if that is not what you are looking for what do you mean by "drivers"?

I think he means verses "waxers", shown and shine types....don't drive in the rain types.....yada yada yada...:rofl1:

Is that what you mean bro?
Yes. I like to drive. The TBP would suit me just fine. How do I hook up with them?

Not Being Critical

Gannet:
I can be right up there with you guys flying at 140 to 160, but the problem is not that issue I think. You do a great job on routes, I have enjoyed both the October and November runs. This week you slowed it down and I think more people enjoyed it. When you lead us as you have, we have to try and keep the group together. In October we had if I remember right about 5 of us up front going (well!) alittle over the limits of most c3's and c4's. We lost the whole gang behind us. I would like maybe to get a gang together and do a run that is "Balls to the Wall", but not associated with TampaBay Vettes. Last Sunday's Cruise, I did get a few chances to open the "Zee" up alittle and still keep the gang together behind me. Again.....Thanks for some great routes and good Breakfast locations!!!
Jim

I would be up for another 5 bridge run...

I ran with the Posse this past Sat..( got a ticket )
I would have to agree with Jim, everyone wants to enjoy driving their vette and not always balls to the wall..I have only gone on one breakfast run with the TBV.. Yes it was tame but my wife was with me and it was a real nice cruise, and we "both" had fun..She does not enjoy riding next to me when I tend to push it, and I want her to be able to enjoy herself..AND keep her safe....:)
