New GT2 Corvette Unveiled!

they came in 2nd (#3 car) and 4th (#4 car)!

Not a bad start. A podium in the first race is not too shabby. Would have been really cool to win the first race, but that will happen soon enough. The Flying Lizard Porches are real tough this year.

To be honest I like that a win is not guaranteed anymore. It's more fun to root for a win rather than be bored expecting it. Having three different makes on the podium was a great result.

I've heard from a few people that they are pretty sure they where sandbagging. That the #3 car could easily catch up the Flying Lizard Porsche then would back off. They didn't want to do too well out the gate and start getting slapped with weight and intake restrictions. Will be interesting to watch this weekend's race at Road America. If the Flying Lizards hadn't only pitted once for fuel and their driver change, the vette would have been on their tail or even have won. Hmmm, maybe that's why it looked like the Vettes where sandbagging. The Porsches where conserving fuel. Now I'm even more excited for Sunday....live on SPEED.

Took the win this weekend at MoSport! Jan Magnussen did some sweet driving towards the end. Pierre Kaffer in the Risi Ferrari was fast. He would have pounced on any mistake that Jan made. Good thing he didn't make any. :hehehe:
