You know Armando, I don't really know. I could guess. I emailed Dom to check out the post and answer your question. He sent me the flyer and I posted it but I don't know the particulars. I'm sure you'll have an answer soon
Hello Armando:
Serviceable shoes are shoes, sandals, sneakers or any other type of footwear that have useful life remaining. The shoes will be going to people here and abroad who otherwise would not have footwear. I've been teasing Joan and a few other women in the club about their excess inventory of shoes (after all there is a little Imelda in every woman--don't get mad ladies, just teasing). The men also have sandals, shoes and sneakers they no longer want. Don't throw them away--bring them to the show. The entrance fee will go to help pay transportation costs. Hope this answers your question.
Dom,
This sounds like a nice gesture. I would however, like to see the shoes go to needy folks here in the good old USA. Thousands of families lost everything in the flooding in the midwest this year, and they are just now digging out from inches, to feet of mud. I would bet that many of them would love a pair of knee high muckers.

Soles 4 Souls has been and continues to provide shoes to the victims of hurricanes Katrina & Rita as well as people in the apalcahian mountain and other areas of the US including Florida. If you would like more info. on the efforts in the US check out their website. http://www.soles4souls.org/
Thanks for your interest in this worthwhile effort
