C7 Manta ray

This would likely be great for people who only want to race their car, but for putting it on the street after rolling your own skin and comfort baggage on it, I wonder what the hurdles would be getting it tagged and street legal?
 
If you read near the end of the article, this was just a dream scenario. It is just a cutaway gm takes around to shows.
 
Yeah, I did read the article, and just commented on the potential he was dreaming about.

Actually I think GM selling something like this would be great for companies who put custom skins on cars. Or the people who want to roll their own in that fashion. But again, once the project is completed, how do you go about getting the "car" street legal?
