Latest word from organizer is approx 200 cars going of which only 15 are vettes...It that true, it sure does'nt say much for us...sure would be nice to flood the Keys next week with Vettes in every class...

For anybody alive out there that cares...The cruise took place with approx 6 vettes, handfull of nice europian rides and a variety of rice cookers which re-enacted Fast & Furious with us on I-95 & Turnpike with suprisingly only one accident which BTW took place 2 cars ahead of me...For being their first cruise it was ok, but meeting places should have taken place @ turnpike plazas instead of inside shopping centers on the last weekend before Xmas...Halfway thru the cruise some of us went on ahead of pack to avoid any further delays...as it was I arrived @ 4:30...Hit Duval St until 9 Pm and enjoyed sunset @ Mallory Square with all the Key West crazies...today hit Duval St again until Noon and headed back...For anyone visiting Key West in the future, The Doubltree by Hilton is a great place to stay with valet parking for the anal and motorcycle parking to boot...Also corvette friendly with free shuttle service on the hour to Duval St and back...Definitely will return to Doubltree and KW in the future...

A Corvette only cruise in the future would be nice...Maybe one of the many clubs will put one together in the near future before summer returns...
