Perseid Meteor Shower - 08/12 & 08/13/2010

Connie and I went out twice to look at the meteor shower. First time we saw about a half dozen of them, including a rather large and spectacular one with a noticeable smoke trail behind it. Second time we saw only about three or so faint ones.
Then before I went to bed (around 3:30am EST) I went out again, but only saw a couple very faint trails. So I'm standing there looking straight up at the sky, getting a crick in my neck, thinking "Meteor SHOWER? Seems more like a meteor DRIP to me....." :shrugs: There was a possum out there by the garage with me, but he didn't seem too interested in the sky. He was probably wondering what the heck I was doing out there.... Stupid humans....
