2000hp 522 ci TT Nelson racing engine

I wonder how that thing gets enough traction to run quarters?... I wish i could drive a 2000hp car around town.

Seems to me there will be a point of diminishing returns with horsepower. Getting it to the pavement without having it go up in smoke could be a problem. But on the other hand, putting it all into raw acceleration might make it so no one could survive the G-forces it would produce. :) I know I certainly wouldn't want to get into a vehicle that could do the quarter mile in 2 seconds from a dead rest. Probably would make me a squishy little puddle in the driver's seat.

With some really fat tires. Actually in the video, he was spinning in 3rd gear at 20mph I think.

Well there is that roller coaster at Six Flags in NJ that goes 0-128mph in 3.3 sec!
It's called Kinda Ka. Goes 45 stories up! Woo hoo! Here's a link in case you want to ride it via the net.
