2010 - NPD 5th Annual Octoberfest - Silver Springs, FL

Vicki and I always enjoyed this event and you can't beat the price, but too far to drive now :yesnod:

I have never been to either one and want to go to both, but can't be in two places at once. I do know that Silver Springs has a cruise over to Cedar Key on Friday, the NPD warehouse is open to see their collection, and you get a free Silver Springs Park pass for two. Someone else will have to chime in about Vettefest, but I am curious as well.

Sounds like a cool show schedule. Vettefest is mostly shops and eating. The "cruise" they do is just out of the complex. Vettefest has the Pizza/beer party at the hotel pool the night before (Fri while the show is Sat). This year the flyer says it is 50's themed party. It's mostly just a laid back and relaxing couple of days.

Hope you enjoy whichever show you choose.

Heck, we are thinking of going, but I'm not making any wagers that my car will be done by October. So what happens if the car on the registration form doesn't match the one you drive to the show?

Got my registration card today in the mail. I am registration #753 so I hope that is how many are registered although I know not that many will actually show up, but it still should be a good show.

Rich tell Chris you need your car back so we can do the cruise to Cedar Key on Friday.

I was there 2 years ago and there was 1000 + cars there. They parked the Vettes seperate from the other GM models. I believe we had the best location.

I talked to NPD about this. They said no problem as long as it's GM.:yesnod:
