2011 Chevrolet Corvette - Still Building Rockets

Curacao

Island in the Caribbean.
Once upon a time, a bunch of guys got together with a crazy idea - build rockets that go farther and faster than mankind had ever gone before. It's nice to know that America still builds rockets - The 2011 Chevrolet Corvette.

Curacao; As someone who has been driving vette's for more than 50 year, I agree with you completely. Hopefully it will keep up. The sales figures for 2010 have just been published and GM sold less than 14K Vette's!!!!!!! Time for a real change. Hope the C-7 will be better than I have read so far.:dancer01:

Man, it has too be!

With ricers out here able to run with or away from the production corvette, fuel economy figures reaching higher, and all the other retro-muscle being manufactured by both GM and others that have the power, styling and the ability to take along friends (albeit-small friends), GM needs to do something to attract a younger, crowd. At least get the numbers up. Otherwise, they're going to find themselves in a quandry over continued production:nonod:
That, or jack the price so rediculously high that they'll be in "exotic" range.

I relly hope they get some enthusiastic esigners in there soon.

I agree you have to keep the younger generation in the loop I'm sure we all had our share of fast cars but alway with the hope that one day you'd own a corvette. You need that stepping stone first to get a taste of whats to come.
and keep that dream alive.
