Very cool movie. The fight scenes reminded me of the Lord of the Rings battles with the weird looking creatures. Xerxes was a real king and is in the old testament of the BIble for those who want to read about him.

I saw this movie the night it came out, i thought it was awesome, my school mascot is tha Spartan

Finally watched this movie last night. The detail was incredible with HD. Very interesting use of colors and contrast. Enough blood and guts for just about anyone.
Pretty interesting movie. Certainly an undercurrent about the political situation today, I think.

they recently ran a documentary on the real story of 300 on the history channel. very interesting stuff. they went into extremely detailed info on everythng from battle tactics, weaponry, ect.
