A neighbor just informed me about a car show on St. Armands Circle this weekend in Sarasota.
5th Annual International Invitational Auto Show

Take a step back in time! St. Armands Circle is the place to be, Saturday November 3rd and 4th. On Saturday, you can browse amongst some of the most exqusitely restored award winning Antique and Classic Automobiles. These Antiques and classic cars are original production models - and in such pristine condition - that many are transported to the show on a trailer. This is Sarasota's only Concours d'Elegance style show. On Sunday, come see the wild and outrageous Hot Rods and Customs. Plus Special Interest vehicles on display both days. Cars on display are by invitation only with a panel of experts choosing the best of the best. Show application deadline September 30, 2007. In addition to the car show, there will be a silent auction on Saturday and Sunday. The highest bidders will be announced on Sunday at 3:30 pm. You do not have to be present to win. Both events are free and open to the public. Proceeds from this event will benefit Southeastern Guide Dogs.
