I saw this today and it struck a chord.

Thought I'd share it with my friends:

WHAT IS A VETERAN?

” A veteran is someone who at some point has written a check to Uncle Sam that reads: PAYABLE IN FULL UP TO THE AMOUNT OF MY LIFE, IF NECESSARY TO DEFEND OUR WAY OF LIFE."

Gordon, I've seen that one before.......
In 1967, they cashed the check that my buddy, Ed Ginter, had made out to them in 1966......

Ed never made it to his 21st birthday, and left this life 43 years ago. He is constantly
remembered by his friends and family. Remember ALL of our service men and women
whenever you talk to the higher power that you believe in!
