A6 Tranny tune question?????

I had my A6 07 vert dynotuned a couple of months ago and the results were impressive. Now I'm hearing about tuning the A6 transmission for quicker up and down shifts and decrease the lag time that is present in the A6. For those of you who have done this to you car or are knowlegeable about this mod, what are the positves, negatives, dangers, cost, etc.? Do I need to be concerned about increases wear and tear, etc.? Thanks for your advice in advance. :thumbsup:
 
The Dyno tune adjusted the engine parameters and torque management. The tranny tune is specific for tranny only. The upshifts and downshifts delays are shortened considerably and is done via software modification. I'm just curious if this is an area I need to stay away from or is this a no brainer for increased performance and little risk on the transmission.
 
The tranny tune is A6 specific & makes a ton of difference! We still are doing them for $99, no app. needed. You will not regret the small $$ for such a dramatic improvment.:thumbsup:
