:banghead: Finally broke down and paid .50 per round for 9MM at Gunbroker.
When it arrived Friday , I noticed the box was really light for 350 rounds, it contained 3 Toro lawn sprinkler heads.
Got a hold of the seller, the box weighted 13 pounds when he left it at UPS, (also was marked on box) so some employee at UPS has my stuff.
I hope they have cameras or something to get this guy !

Ouch, that sucks! Do you have any recourse to recover your money or get what you actually paid for?

The seller appears to be honest, we are filling a claim with UPS, so hoping somebody will take care of it.
(plus I paid the 3%extra for paypal/amex)

Hope it works out OK for you. I guess ammunition is in such high demand these days that people are getting sticky fingers if the chance presents itself. Hopefully the guy who did that will be finding out firsthand how tough it is to find another job.

That DOES suck. I haven't checked recently for any ammo but I HAVE heard that shooting ranges are hurtin' because shooters don't want to waste rounds on paper. :shrug01:

The ranges are hurting because the hoarders have driven up the price to the point that few can afford to shoot. At $25.00 and up for 50 rounds of 9mm it's a bit pricey. Do you know how fast 50 rounds go? And I use .45 which is even more costly. If you can find any. I noticed yesterday that "Cheaper Than Dirt" was out of all 9mm.....

Mainly, I shoot .22 at the range since it's relatively cheap. Shooting 9mm or .45ACP during a day at the range would put me in the poor house. The firearms other than .22 I use sparingly, and just to maintain familiarity with them since they are my carry and back-up.

Heck, except for playing the "Squirrelinator" around here, I haven't shot any for quite a long time. Fortunately I've bought enough ammo and reloading supplies years ago and don't really need to buy any more probably for the rest of my life. Used to be that Connie and I would go do gun shows, and if I couldn't find a gun I needed, I would buy ammo just so I wouldn't come home empty handed. Now I guess it's a major purchasing decision, IF you can find it.

:banghead: Cant find it in most places around here except the big buck stuff.
Im shooting for fun, was taking some the the woods this week end, back to hording

update

The seller returned my money on his own, I hope UPS is going to return the money to this guy.
