Greeting everyone. I posted in the General Discussion, show us your car thread thinking I had posted before, oops! Signed up in 2006 and never posted. Corvette owner since 1997 of a red 1981, bought a grand sport replica in 2006. Originally from Michigan, moved to Sarasota then North Port.

Where in Mich. are you from? I was born and raised in Detroit.
 
Thanks everyone! I generally just look around the forums, great idea for a Florida specific one. Jim, you bet, thanks for the avatar! Mark, I was born and raised in a small place NE of Detroit called Shelby Township. Moved to Sarasota in 97 for a job, and the beginning of this year moved to North Port so I could have a bigger garage. I belong to the Venice club, but haven't been very active in the last 3 years because of the job. Hopefully I'll come home for good this summer and be able to play with my toys.
