Any problem with a C2 or C5 completely suspended off the ground?

Would there be a problem for a '66 convertible or a 2003 Coupe to be sitting on jack stands or on a two-post lift completely suspended for an extended period of time?
 
I don't know about the C2, but for sure my C5 Z06 has spent a substantial amount of time in the last three years on a two post lift. Including my own lift since November. Haven't noticed any issues from it.
