Been selling my Honda for past few weeks and put the check in the bank today. Going to pick my 1999 C5 Saturday, black of course and very well maintained for $12K. All is welll with the world again. I have a big grin all over again.

YEA for U! Nothing like a Vette to put you in a good frame of mind.
Kinda like a margarita 'cept that it costs more!

C5

Picked up the C5 today in Land O Lakes. Awesome ride home but the speedo was set on KM not MPH. I looked at the speedometer and it said 120 and I thought what the heck? Changed it when I got home. Seller took great care of this car, but mentioned some issues with the FOB working intermittently.
I got home and the FOB quit working, but I read a procedure where it told me to hold the lock/unlock buttons at the same time and presto chango, it is fixed. Have some cleaning to do to bring it up to the way I want it to look.
Has upgraded chrome spoke wheels and looks nice, but the car seems alot lower height wise than the C6 I had. Try to get pics up soon, once I get it looking really shiney and new. Some how I feel more at home in the C5 than I did in my C6, but missing a few horsepower to start.

Congratulations!! I know the feeling, a few years ago I was without a Vette and it was killing me. I am glad you found one to your liking.

 I was vetteless for awhile last year, too.
Looking forward to those pictures when you get them posted
