For those nervous about where to keep their huge savings ?????The bank that has the highest rating in the country is TD North .It's actually a Canadian bank .Vast amount of branches on the east coast.
 
Sounds like keeping your money in your mattress like in the old days may be your best bet if this fiasco keeps festering...

First it depends who you share the mattress with.:)Despite the so call bail out there a number of banks that are in the process (and will) of failing.Despite the fact most savings are are cover up to $100,000 they (FDIC) do not have the ability to cover more than20-30% of total savings in US banks.Up until 2006 my sons and I we're very active in banking.I urge everyone to be careful in these troubled times.
