BP Boycott...Think Again Folks...

als2052

Road Trip!
By boycotting BP, you are only hurting your local independent dealers who are part of our community...I seriously doubt that BP will ever feel anything...They are to rich to be impacted.

Your correct.

There are also some phycos that want the Govt to seize BP .Ya great .

The other issue there is, not all BP gas stations actually have BP gas either. You have to find a BP distributer, which I've only found two in Florida, both in the Miami area. Not sure how far out they distribute. That BP gas you are buying, might actually be Citgo, Chevron, or Shell. It's all about what the distributers carry in the area.

Well no, probably it won't make any difference to them, but I certainly feel better NOT giving them my business....

From what I have been able to determine, they cut every corner they possibly could, and took risks that can only be explained by simple, raw GREED. Now that greed is in the process of destroying the Gulf of Mexico.

Sorry, but I'm just NOT feeling all that kindly towards BP these days....

Couldn't agree more. I do feel sorry for those business owners, but it's a cruel cruel world out there right now. They are probably filing for compensation through the Gulf Recovering fund or whatever they are calling it, though.

It amazes me that people want to bankrupt the ONLY entity doing anything to clean up the oil and stop the gushing oil. I agree that it appears BP did some very unscrupulous things that put them into this situation, but if we bankrupt this company who will we be left with cleaning up the mess? Obamunism? I'll trust the greedy bastards that want to get back in business and back to making a profit, rather than the greedy bastards that want to push their agenda of forcing people out of their cars.

BP is most certainly not going under. They are still making millions per day (er per hour), even with this extreme leak. They are talking about the oil they tapped into being enough for decades of pumping.

On another note, not sure if it was covered in the other thread, but I've read this has happened to two other rigs (Not BP). Both had to have a relief well drilled to stop the leak. One in South America took over 6 months to stop and one in Australia took almost 10 months to stop (took numerous times to hit the original drill pipe).

These other tries by BP were just to amuse people while they were starting the relief drilling. They are also doing two at once, which they didn't do in the other two instances. Hopefully this will all finally end in the next few weeks and then we can really see what the damage will be.

Yea, that'd work out well for us wouldn't it?

Just what we need. Another failed business.

Right ,if it wasn't failing at the time of take over it soon would be .But Obama fuel could then be used at Obama motors for initial fueling .There may be a conspiracy theory here somewhere.
