Rideing in style
ok car has been awsome. today was fine then pulled up to a light and brakes went to the floor. i checked fluid and it clear and clean. if i brake hard its fine but if i brake slow it goes to the floor. i had the brakes blead but same thing. any ideas???


i can only get liability insurance and ideas where i can get full coverage on a classic corvette.

Brake booster maybe? On my Vette it's bad, and it just acts like manual brakes. However, I was driving another car with the brake booster disconnected, and it acted similar to what you described. So it might be a good idea to check that stuff first...
 
all fixed. thanks for the help put a new master cylinder on it today and flushed the whole system. new parts and new fluid. did a complete system flush.
