bumpers warping??

My 79, no longer have it, sat in the sun, for most of 30 years. The rubber bumpers warped and waved, after about 20 years.
My used 92, is garaged and the door is open, most of the day. The afternoon sun and heat, shine on it all PM.
Will the sun light or the heat, cause the warping?
Need to know this. I don't want my custom paint, redone because of the bumpers.

My 98 has some warping and she lives in the Garage.I think that's a common problem.

The nose of my 84 has some warping. When I was younger I weighed like 230lbs, so being stupid I'd sit on the nose of the Vette. The weight just went away for no particular reason but uh... well, let's just say I learned not to sit on the nose of any car.


But other than that, no warping for my Vette. It sat outside for 140,000 miles and near 20 years while my father owned it with no warping until some little fat kid ****ed up the nose shortly after I got it.
