C4 Seat Back Removal

Did a little search for you.
Here you go:

http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_do_you_change_the_back_seat_cushion_on_a_C4_corvette_standard_seats

Question:
How do you change the back seat cushion on a C4 corvette standard seats?
In: Chevy Corvette [Edit categories]

Answer:

Removing the seats from the car and excellent lighting is a requirement! The foam seat backs are held in place by metal rods which are molded into the seat foam. The rods are secured to the seat back by a total of four clips per seat which are attached to the hard plastic seat back. If you crowd the seat foam inward, you will see the attachment points. Removal involves pushing each vertical rod inward until it becomes dislodged from each clip. Installation simply involves making sure the rods engage each respective clip. If you have small hands like mine, this is pretty easy. If not, have a buddy, wife or girlfriend help you as this really does make a difference.

And heres one from another article:

If the link doesn't work, do a Google search for C4 corvette seat back removal and it will be the 2nd link down from the top of the page.

I thought that was all there was to it but I wasn't sure? I had an 87 and removed them a couple of times.

Very easy and quick job.
