The Alignment Guy
I'm almost done with this conversion/adaptation. I wanted a car that when I'm cruising I could have an auto with 2.73 gears. Then if I wanna race or have some spirited driving, I can easily switch to a 6 speed and 3.42 gears.

It's taken almost a year to complete. Just have to install the shifter and modify the bezel. Can't wait to make final tests on the open road.

To engage the six sped you put the auto in neutral
I have a dual torque tube going into a specially modified dual gear rear. That was the hardest part to make and function.

I have honestly never seen such an animal. Do you have pics?

Sounds like an awesome mod.

right now, i'm keeping the details under wraps until i can get my intellectual and utility patents secured. :p

That probably explains why I have never heard of such a thing before.

LOL! I was struggling trying to figure out how in the world you could get a dual torque tube to work. :lmao:

I sure as heck didn't want to curb your enthusiasm by calling you out on it with outright skepticism. Who knows? You might actually have been some sort of Nikola Tesla of all things automotive.
