Change Power Steering Fluid?

92 Corvette LT1 Coupe
Hello,

I am in the process of changing all the fluids in my 92 LT1. I don't know the history of the car, so I thought this was a must. What is the best way to change my power steering fluid? Thanks so much.

Back in the day, I used a cheap turkey baster and just sucked it out and filled the reservoir 3/4 with new. Then I would turn the steering wheel a few times and repeat until it looked clean. I used a little over a quart.
I sure someone will have a more sophisticated procedure. If the Turkey baster is too short, add a piece of rubber gas line.
Good Luck

Yeah, that will work as well as anything..... That's pretty much the procedure I used for the clutch reservoir as well. It's a pretty good idea to replace your clutch fluid regularly while you are at it. Flushing the brake lines with new fluid would certainly be a good idea too.
