Codes

I am getting Codes 55 and 64. This started about 10 months ago and since then I have found the following and fixed them. Two broken wires inside the plug to the TPS. Bad MAP sensor also replaced it. Wire to the Knock sensor was exposed. Apparently before me the Knock sensor was replaced and they had to change the wiring connector to it. Did fuel pressure checks and found the 10 month old pump had a small hole in the case. Replaced the fuel pump put in a new pump pick up screen and reset the dampener. Replaced the in line fuel filter. Cleaned the grounds. The car runs with more spirit not still not up to normal. When on the road cruising I will get the SES light and if I hammer it most of the time it will go away and the car will run better for a while. As for my milage sometimes it will be in the 24 to 25 MPG range and then all of a sudden drop down in to the 18 MPG range while driving. I also had a problem with the air pump flange that bolts to the back of the intake. discovered that one of the bolts was stripped but the threads in the intake were ok. As for the injectors they all test 12.6ohms.

My question is this. Is there a way to know when the engine is in open loop or closed loop. In my FSM one of the tests for the air pump is to check to see if it is in closed loop.
