I have a 2007 C6 convertible with the electric top actuator. Lately, when I lower (or raise) the convertible top, there is an instance where the latch on the closeout panel strikes the glass of the convertible top. This is while the top is semi-folded up, and the closeout panel raises (opens) of lowers (closes).
I have had it at the dealer twice for this problem as I am worried it may damage the glass. Twice they say they have adjusted "the striker" on the rear panel, but this has failed to correct the problem. Yesterday, I had it at the shop, and as soon as I got home, tried it, and again the glass was struck by the latch.
Any ideas, help from my friends out there...???
