You know, you bring up an interesting point.
In the past, and even more recently with the new car, I've intentionally looked for a parking space next to a Bimmers, Mercedes, Vette or other high end car.
Of course I leave them plenty of room to get in and out and if I have a passenger, I make sure they are aware of the other car.
If I'm in a parking garage or parking lot, and if possible, I'll prefer to have one side of my car next to the curb or wall and the other next to a high end car.
Reason?
It's simple.
I find that a lot of high end car owners enjoy cars period and for the most part, regardless of the car, will not intentionally hit another car getting in and out.
But even those that are "above the rest of us", still care about
THIER car and if for no other reason, will be careful not to hit the car next to them for fear of damaging
THIER OWN car.:hehehe::thumbsup:
Of course the person next to me, probably seems me as a "wanna be":rofl1:, not reasliving that my "other car" is a vette

He/she never realizes that I've also taken steps by parking my car there, to ensure that, at least that side, remains ding free for the time:thumbsup:
So either way, for whatever reason, it's a win win for both of us:thumbsup:
