Dash Sign

I was thinking about this for a good part of the evening yesterday and thought I would go ahead and ask. Just how big should these dash signs be.
I made one for the Venice show on an 8" X 11" sheet of paper. Of all the paperwork on my dash I made sure this was front and center, but it appears no one saw it. Because of my wifes health, we were at the car 95% of the show. I rode in with Ken & Carrie, Rob & Mary and then saw Joe and Deb there. The only people who stopped by the car and said hi was Greg and Rashelle. Until I saw others posting about being present, I thought it was just the 8 people mentioned that attended.
I know I'm not a real social person and shy away from crowds, but I do say hi on occasion. I just didn't know if it was me, the Vette or what the problem was that others didn't see the dash sign and stop.
Heck, Rob and I entered the C5 parking area together and he parked on the opposite side the lot from me (Rob you know I'm just teasing ya)
Like I said in another post, this was my first big formal event and wow.
I hope it was just my sign was too small that others didn't say "HI" :shrug01:

With my over heating problem, i didn't get much time to walk around. I only got to see a few folks from the forum. And me of all people (the creator of the dash sign) forgot mine :shrug01:

I was thinking maybe we all need some name badges to wear at events....

I bought a box of them, have the software to design them, but talent and time is lacking..... :shrug01:

I would be happy to design and print them on 110# card stock. Just give me an idea of what all you want on them. And the size of the badge holders that you have.

I bought the entire badge kit. Includes cardboard (which works via template on my Avery Design Pro software) and the plastic sleeves that attach via safety pin. If I can find some time, I can work on something, but that time issue (not to mention my lack of artistic skills) is a killer when it comes to motivation.....

Does this sound like what you have?

Avery® Vinyl Badge Holder, Horizontal, 2-5/8" x 3-7/8"
Made from heavyweight vinyl for everyday use

Use prepunched holes to attach to lanyards, reel clips, etc.
Use with Avery 2-1/4" x 3-1/2" Name Badge Inserts (Item # 404061)

Another though would be just a button to wear. Most us belong to a local club and have a name badge for that club. Personally I don't want to wear 2 name badges. So a button would be an acceptable addition.

I just want to figure how C5rick got a dash poster with his Vette on it. I'm way too illiterate to accomplish that, hep me!, hep me!

E-Mail me a pic of your car and I will send you a new dash sign.

I was referencing the dash sign as being ironic. It seemed to repel other members. Maybe it was me or the Vette that kept people away and not the sign after all.

Hey Steve, Would you mind doing one for me too or tell me how to do it? I'm about the 4th grade level with computers and yes Steve, I'm not smarter than a 5th grader! :lmao:

Hey Rick, I'm sorry I missed you. I thought you didn't show up for some reason. We all met at the Irish Pub for lunch. If I would have known ,I've gotten a bull horn and called you over!
