Detailing

I'm thinking about having my C5 professionally detailed after the rainy season ends in September.

Any recommendations? How much should I expect to pay?

Thanks!

Depends on how you define "detailed." Wash, hand wax, and quickie interior jobs usually are under $80. Claying, polishing, engine, and real attention to whats going on, well, the sky is the limit...but $200 is not unheard of as a starting point.

All depends on how good you want it to look.

About a year ago I had Michelle's Volvo detailed not including the interor, engine, wheels. Just exterior wash, clay bar, two grits of polish, and a sealer/wax was $125 and they were mobile so they come to you. If interested I will see if I can find their contact info.

As already stated, it really depends on what you are looking to have done. If you want a simple exterior wash and wax that is not bad, but if you need paint correction (remove swirls and fine scratches) that can be a different issue.
I suggest that if you are looking for a complete detail (engine bay, interior, wheels and paint correction) check with a few shops and check out their work habits, and meterials that they use. Improper work habits can cause more damage to the finish once they are done then before they started. I would also like to see some of there work, and not pictures as they may not show the real story.

Can't seem to find Richies detailing that you posted. Can you help me with that? Thanks:shrug01:

Sorry for the lack of info.
Check the Detail section and Richie Carbone.
I have used him twice a year for many many years.
He is the Best in Florida and maybe the US and who knows
the whole world.
