Did I post this in the wrong spot???

Good looking car, just a tough time to buy right now for most people.
:iagree::iagree::iagree:
I haven't had anyone even on the lot to buy in 8-10 months!:banghead:
But I've had allot of people trying to sell me Real Nice Vettes.......Cheap!!
I'm not buying anything right now and I have 5 finished jobs stored because people don't have the $$$$ to pick them up!:banghead::banghead::banghead:

IMO, the type of modifications limit your market. The lambo doors and painted interior are the worst two items IMO, followed by the ridiculous amount of red and blue under the hood. Someone will happen upon it and probably feel like they must have it, but it will take a while.

:iagree:

Not meant to flame but this Vette was really personalized. Not for me would also include louvered tail light grills, Z06 brake duct, fender badges and mirrored hood liner. Like Z06 Rocket said someone will happen by and say "man that cars for me!". It may take a while.

I think most, including myself, were doing what our momma's always told us to do.

If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all!

For that reason and the fact that I wanted your friend have success with the sale, I reserved comment:thumbsup:

But I have to agree with some of the others. Modded cars, especially "personalized" cars, are particularly hard to sell.

It's the "to each thier own" thing that seems to get in the way.

We all have differing opinions on "cool" :cool:

For example, I don't care for that color scheme on the interior console at all. I would immediately remove it if I bought it.

Some of the other mods that made it personal to the original owner just don't with well with me either, but that's just me.

But like they also said, someone will happen by, in the market for a Red Corvette, look at that, fall in love with it, realize they won't have to put the money into customizing it because the original owner already did that for them, make a sweet deal and buy it without hesitation:thumbsup::dancer01:

Just give it time:thumbsup:

I didn't say it. gsdave said it. All I said was that economy's tough right now.
