1) My buddy has an '06 Z51 automatic convertible. We went to the track on Friday and due to rain, he only had two runs (street tires). First run way 14.0 and the second run was 13.8. We don't know whether they are good numbers or not. Anyone knows what a good ET would be for that car?

2) My '06 is not a Z51 and it is manual, also convertible. What should my ET be? I plan to take it to the track this Friday or the following Friday. :dancer01:

Thanks,
Lou

I would think getting into the 12s would be doable. Might take some more time on the track to get your launch optimized, though. That's where most people lose their time.

Here are some numbers on 3 c6,These were stock cars.

2005 Chevrolet Corvette C6 4.2 12.5 (chevrolet.com)
2006 Chevrolet Corvette ZO6 3.5 11.5 (MT Oct '05)
2007 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 3.7 11.8 (MT Oct '07 Vol. 59, NO. 10)

In time your times will get faster:thumbsup:

Drag times

You've got to learn to drive.
Sit at the side of the starting line for awhile.
Learn the lights.
Watch the roll distance.
Learn the lights.
Know your car.
Watch the other guys.
Learn the lights.
Got to beat .04 on the tree.
Got to beat 1.6 at the 60' mark.
Learn your car and the lights.
Do not modify your car, until you know your car.
Check your tire pressure and record it.
Record, EVERYTHING!!!
I've got 50 years of drag racing and I'm still learning.
My RT, has gotten a little slow, lately.
My race car was sold to get this C4.

Where are you living in WM?
I use to live at 280 Morsetown Rd., 79 till 83.Had a 75 silver convert, then.
Do you know Floyd Struble, he's about 45ish now? He was in the construction line.
I moved out when the Chief wouldn't issue me a carry permit.
Chiefy, thought he would own me, like he did every one else.
I bought a security company and refused to allow any of my men to work in WM. Put a hurt on him, during the time of the big game farm. They had traffic backed up for 10 miles. All roads blocked. They had to close it down, for good.
Warrner Bros. was pissed.

I tried a private message but couldn't get through.
I live about a mile from the center of town. Sorry, don't know Floyd Strubble although I think there are some Strubbles in my wife's family. I'll ask her.
Been in West Milford since '73. When WB was here, at night, we would hear the lions roar. I remember the traffic backed-up for miles on the weekends.
