Dupont Cars and Coffee Show

Again, This saturday, Apr 19th...from about 7 AM to about 9:15 or so AM...

Maybe we could have ALOT of Corvette owners come and show off America's finest Sports Car...

It would be nice to meet some of you folks in person...

See you there.

7AM

:ack2::eek::ack2::eek::ack2::eek::ack2::eek::ack2::eek::ack2::ack2::eek:

If for some crazy reason or an act of God I'm up by then I'll make it over.

Why is it soooooooo early in the AM? Maybe I'm just the only one that gets up at 10 am....:shrug01::crazy03::shrug01:

They have the show early so all you guys from Tampa can race over The Howard Frankland Bridge at 145 mph...or more...

(The cops take their donut break between 7 and 9 am)

And...you have enough time to be home by 10 or so to have family time, or honey-do-list stuff or take a nap...

See you there...

If you're not fun or a nice guy...stay home

Jim H mentioned that the cops take a break between 7-9 AM. He's not far wrong. The cops know about the Cars and Coffee event and even tour the lot in their cruiser sometimes. They seem to support the event and even looked the other way last month when a Lamborghini leaving the show squeeled the tires and left the site at somewhat over the posted limit.

All in all everyone behaved theirselves at the event and I certainly don't advocate behavior like the guy in the Lambo but the police are very tolerant.

Thanks guys!
