Extending GMPP extended warranty

I think I have seen threads about being able to extend a GMPP extended warranty if you do it at least 90 days prior to its expiration date. Is this so?:dancer01:
 
Yes, this is true. 3 months and 3k miles, both have to be inline to qualify for an upgrade. Maximum allowable miles is 75k on the odometer, which actually turns out to be 72k because of the 3k mile rule. GM is weird on that one. These rules are what are applied during the application process.
