• Got the Contributing Memberships stuff finally worked out and made up a thread as a sort of "How-To" to help people figure out how to participate. So if you need help figuring it out, here's the thread you need to take a look at -> http://www.corvetteflorida.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3581 Thank you, everyone! Rich Z.

Firebird from Delray Beach

NOT A TA

No Corvette but I met some members from here at the track and signed up to check out the site. I have several cars mostly older models including a 70 Firebird I take to tracks road race tracks, dragstrips, and top speed events where I met some of the members here.

Yes that was me! Here's what the car looks like most of the time. They made me use a different number at the Milemarker-1 event becuase one of their buddys wanted to be 14 or something like that. 9354 is my designated LSR # for Maxton and any other sanctioned Land Speed Racing events so I used that instead, but I like the old school Trans Am style of the 14's.

John Hendrick took some nice pics of the car at Sebring about a week ago that can be seen at the link below. There's about 40 pics on 2 pages and if you hit slideshow it shows them full screen and scrolls through them. http://www.hendricksportsphoto.com/Auto-Racing/NASA-10-3-2009/14/9903995_niBbj#675047389_wGjnJ

Good photos! It was nice to see that the older body car out there amongst all of the new stuff. And running more than them. and looking better

I really wanted to take my 51 ford out there but it loses it around 160 as it is:(

Do you have any videos of it @ Sebring? I would really like to see that.
