Yesterday I decided to take the '52 coupe to the cruise-in at Biff Burger. On the way there I ran into a torrential rain storm (must have been the 20% they forecasted). Just as I was about to turn on the wipers, I remembered that I had removed the wiper arms/blades in order to polish them and they were still on the workbench at home !!!:shrug01: I was going to look for a parking lot to wait the storm out but didn't need to. When I detail my Vette and the '52, I use Flash Grape Gloss on all the surfaces including the glass. To my relief, the water was sheeting off the windshield so fast that I didn't need to stop. I use Rain-X on the two grocery getters and I can honestly say that the sheeting action of the Grape Gloss was far superior.:yesnod:
It was still raining when I got to Biff's, so I went inside and had something to eat and sat around telling lies with the other cruisers. By the time I went back out to the car the rain had stopped and the sun was baking everything. The car, which is solid black, looked like a leopard with all those water spots.:nonod: I got out the Grape Gloss and wiped it down, in the sun and heat, and it looked as good as ever.:crazy03:
I have been using Flash products for years and as usual was not let down
