• Got the Contributing Memberships stuff finally worked out and made up a thread as a sort of "How-To" to help people figure out how to participate. So if you need help figuring it out, here's the thread you need to take a look at -> http://www.corvetteflorida.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3581 Thank you, everyone! Rich Z.

First time out with the FCRC and man what a great time. Very different from what I'm used to, so it took a couple of laps to get straight, but ended up putting down some solid numbers. I didn't get to stay for the free runs in the afternoon, but I was 5th out of 39 after the first two rounds (two run groups in the morning, then two groups again in the afternoon for a total of 8 runs per group). The top 4 finishers were all on slicks, while I just run street tires. 315s on all four corners, but street tires no less. I'm pretty sure I beat out at least a couple on slicks, including a C6 ZO6 no less (disclaimer: his raw time was faster but he coned or went off course each run).

Joe, was great to meet you and glad you were able to put down some good times. Got a video of me running shot gun with you that I'll post when I get a chance (and one in the Ferrari 550 too).

Here are most of my runs, all from different angles. Enjoy.

That was geat fun Saturday. Thanks for your help (though I still need more)!!!!
I will probably try to pick your brain to figure out how to get more speed from me and the car...
Thanks again
Joe

Here's the info for our June event at Fast. June 15th at Tampa Bay Downs

Just have to sign the insurance waiver, get a wrist band and you can go for all the ride-a-longs you can handle. Looks like it's going to be a fun course!

Course Map

Biggest thing you can do to improve is more seat time. Next thing will be new tires or wheels/tires. I'd give OE Wheels a call for proper fitment, just don't get their wheel AND tire package.

17" tires - BFGs
Bridgestone
