Actually, I don't think anyone can say "global warming" these days without a chuckle or smirk on their face..... 
But wanna bet they don't ram through that "cap and trade" legislation anyway because it gives TREMENDOUS control over industry to the government?

We did our traditional Disney Christmas again this year and as we were there I began to think of the enormous amount of energy they must use to run that place. Then I started to predict how the cap and trade will affect Disney and the rest of the resort and amusement industry. The prices are already at the edge of affordability ($8 turkey leg
). I don’t see this going well for these places and Florida when not only these prices are forced much higher but with the expected rise in all our everyday expenses, there will be much less play money available to begin with.Florida relies on the tourist industry, if that takes a big hit our current recession will be the good ol days.

We don't have the white stuff but the temp is the same.
I couldn't find a spot without trees or I'da tried to convince people that the photo was taken outside my Orlando home (Conway self storage):lmao:With the wind chill of about 12 degrees I did need to turn on the heater after about a half hour.:banghead:
I did check the road and weather forecast and I could make it down I 95 on Thurs/Fri. no problem for the great Florida warm up.Junkie is tempting me but I have college classes till spring.:banghead:

Since there is no white stuff on the ground here (yet) I will ready my Vette for the cold by starting it up and driving it!! LOL It will be nice and warm under the hood then. Plus the extra cool weather seems to give the engine a tad bit more kick when it's accelerating.

I was up 1/2 the night helping a friend working on 1,100 acres of orange groves keeping the wells & sprinklers going. Got to 22 for several hours......hope not much damage.
