Tonight is Game 1 for ALCS title against our nemesis the Red Sox. It should be a barn burner of a night especially with the past history of intimidation and animosity between these teams.
I'll be there with my club buddies cheering the Rays on and drowning out the Sox fans!!!! My prediction of Dodgers vs. Rays in the World Series may still come true but the Phillies wouldn't be a bad series either along with no jet lag. I hope some of you will be able to go this weekend. Be prepared for LOUD!!!!!! :lmao::lmao::dancer01::dancer01:

Rick, I know what you mean. I prefer football and hockey live or on tv. Baseball on tv seems to slow to me but when seen live, it becomes an entirely different game. The game is simple yet it is the little things and nuances that make it exciting. I'm just an armchair sports fan in general and grateful for the abundance of good sports available to us in the Tampa Bay area. :thumbsup:
 
The 3" thick Pastrami sandwiches are pretty good too, especially with a cold beer. :thumbsup:
 
All I can say about Game 2 is WOW WOW WOW. It took 5.5 hours and 11 innings and the Rays finally pulled off a win 9 to 8. A record 7 home runs were hit and we all staggered out of the Trop at 1:35 am not from drinking but just a long day and night. Go Rays. :thumbsup::thumbsup:
 
The WIN was great but that had to suck being there all that time, and they stop selling Beer after the 7th inning. :banghead:, :ack2:
