This time of the year, I just love telling people just where I live, for if heading
west on 44 from DeLand then right onto 42, I live over the river ( St Johns )
and through the woods. Been driving vettes most of my life, except for 15 years while boat racing. I have owned 75, 79, 94 and now 01. I do not care
for the style of the C-6, so this may be my last one for the rest of time.
But do love it. So if you see a Lemans Blue in this area, wave for I will all
ready be waving.
 
:welcome: Actually I wasn't all that thrilled with the C6 when I first saw it. However it has really come to grow on me, and I will likely be getting one for the wife as soon as I can find the best deal in a color she likes.

But in all truthfullness, ANY vette is better than NO vette! :thumbsup:

Same here as with RichZ. I didn't like the C6 at first, but it's growing on me. I do prefer the look of the Z06 more though.

Lemans Blue(The deep blue color,not the light blue from the 60`s) did`nt show up until 04. It was the commerative color to celebrate the last year of the C-5. I`m pretty sure.:thumbsup: Oh! and welcome:welcome:
 
Sorry I was going off of on line color charts, not the build codes, it is the dark blue metallic almost purple in the right light. Still happy to be in this forum for Florida corvettes :thumbsup: :yesnod:

42 is a really nice road on a Sunday afternoon with the top down.

'01 was the last year for the navy blue metallic. It's a beautiful color. Wish they still made it! If you've got pics why not post them??
