Do you like music?:yesnod: , dancing?:dancer01: and upbeat movies that just make you feel good?:) Hairspray is a musical based on the hit Broadway play and it delivers in the style of those old 50's musicals. John Travolta is outstanding as an overweight mother and the rest of the cast excells. One of the lead characters is Brittany Snow from Tampa.
To all my masculine counterparts out there, sit back and enjoy yourself and if you are afraid your image may be compromised, just tell them that your significant other made you go.:D
We took one of our grandaughters to see it and I had no expectations.:shrug01: It turned out to be one of the most enjoyable and fun movies I have seen in a long time. At the end of the show, the entire audience applauded.
I give it two thumbs up and my recommendation is to "try it, you just might like it".:thumbsup: :thumbsup:

Coming from Baltimore, which is the basis for the movie, I have been interested to hear if it was worth going to see. This maybe on the list while we are in Ft. Myers for the next month or so.

I agree. This was an enjoyable date movie. My wife and I enjoyed the singing and the dancing. How in the heck did John Travolta move around in that fat suit? :thumbsup:
